Farm Town - Farm Town Tips

Everyone's goal in Slash Key's (and Facebook's) Farm Town, besides making the most money, is to have the 'coolest' farm in town. "How do you do that?" you may ask. Well, I am here to tell you how to have the coolest farm in "Town" with tips, photos, and more!

I guess you could call this a 'power leveling' guide for farm town. It will tell you how to make the most money and experience points the fastest. This will let you buy the biggest farms, when the real fun begins. Then you will have plenty of space (and money) to build the farm of your dreams. Be the envy of your friends! They will all wonder how you made such a big farm so quickly!

Ok, you have just signed on to facebook's Farm Town, and you want to make a LOT of money as SOON as possible, right? Well, here is to hoping you have nothing to do besides farmtown every few hours, because the way I am going to have you planting, plowing, and HAVING YOUR FRIENDS HARVEST will get you some quick cash and levels! Your first goal is to buy a good amount of grapes and leave enough for plowing some fields. You may ask yourself, "Why should I buy grape seeds? I mean Corn gives you so much more money, right?" WRONG! Corn takes a long time to grow, so you aren't getting experience (exp) from plowing and replanting seeds. Besides that, over time you make a lot less money if you are planting grapes. Look below through the 'boring data' for some more facts and figures.

• Crops: These are obviously the fruits or vegetables you are planting. Plant only grapes until level 11, then begin planting only raspberries - grapes if you will be gone for longer than 4 hours.
• Level: The level you have to be to buy certain crops from the store.
• Cost: How much 1 'bag' of seeds cost.
• Gross Profit: How much you make per harvest (BEFORE) buying new seeds.
• New Profit: How much you make per harvest (AFTER) buying new seeds. You should NEVER harvest your own crops. Go to the market and hire someone, or ask one of your friends. You both make more money this way.
• Profit per Hour: This is how much you would make if you plant and harvest right when the particular produce is ready. In other words, your total profit. The range is from the smallest farm full of crops to the largest.

• ALWAYS have a friend or someone at the marketplace harvest for you!!! I can't stress this enough. Heck, have two or three people harvest for you. You earn more money and so do they! If they ask if you want to harvest their farm after they are done with yours, agree! You've made a friend!
• Plant Grapes or Raspberries (whichever you have the level for) when you are going to be at the computer. When you go to bed, school or work, plant grapes and hopefully you will be back in 8 hours. If you don't plan to be back before 8 hours is up, don't plant anything. Sure, you lose 2-4 crop cycles, but if you plant grapes or raspberries and you will be gone for more than 8 hours, you will have wasted all of that money because they will be DEAD! You don't want to plant anything that takes longer because you will waste those crop cycles when you DO get back home.
• If you know you will be gone for a few days, plant something that will fit your timeframe the best.
• When you are building your OWN Farm house , make sure you qualify for the Energy Tax Credit in real life, it doesn't work like that in the game ;).
